World Cup Draw Preview

With the world’s biggest football competition fastly approaching, we take a look at the World Cup draw a head of next Friday. The group stage draw will take place on the 4th November 2009 in the Cape Town Convention Centre at 19:00 local time. Although Argentina and France struggled to qualify for this tournament, they are both among the top seeds. Fifa have also not taken into account this month’s Fifa world rankings as England would be in pot two because they have now dropped to ninth in the world rankings after their 1-0 defeat to Brazil.
